DOGEstonia

Your community can understand itself better

Your own civic node for a neighbourhood, village or local community. People's stories help reveal shared needs and act together.

The DOGEstonia character greets the neighbours; stories connect people in one neighbourhood.

From observation to action

From individual stories to the bigger picture

  1. We share

    What matters in everyday life.

  2. We see what's shared

Connected stories help notice a shared need.

  3. We find opportunities

People offer knowledge, help and solutions.

The community stays in control

Your own node, your own information space

Centralised social network

For example Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others. The community lives on someone else's platform: the rules, the feed and the data are set by a company working for its shareholders' profit. A small group of people gets too much power over millions of users.

Independent node

Your own infrastructure and accounts under your community's control.

You pay for hosting and services directly, and I help with the technical side. This is how we build the foundation of the node's information autonomy.

Access for technical help is granted only when needed. Paying for yourselves and managing access are two parts of this independence.

Where it's heading

Independence doesn't mean isolation

A Web3 federation on the EVM network DogeOS, will connect the needs and offers of independent communities.

Just 2–3 neighbouring nodes provide the basis for the first joint scenarios: one needs a club, another has a teacher, and nearby there's a venue.

Inter-node connection and matching is the next stage of the project.

Classes needed

A teacher available

A venue available

Shared opportunities — independent communities

The future of the federation

From buying attention to matching needs

Push advertising

A company pays for impressions and decides who sees its offer, whether people need it or not. Whoever has the bigger ad budget wins.

Matching for an internal token

Contextual advertising already exists in Google and ChatGPT: it responds to a real request and is more useful than push ads. We go further. Promotion within the federation is paid only with an internal token, which can't be bought or exchanged for anything external: it's earned for useful contributions to the community. So people's attention here isn't sold for money.

In our assessment, such a closed token doesn't require a MiCA licence. This is not a legal opinion.

How useful contributions will be counted

We're planning an internal economy: useful Stories and taking part in discussions help create value for the nodes and the whole federation.

  1. Story

    A person shares their experience.

  2. Issue

Connected stories form a shared topic.

  3. Discussion

Participants help uncover what the topic means.

  4. Metrics

    Discussion produces measurable signals.

  5. A single formula

A shared principle for valuing useful contributions.

  6. Internal token

Tracking contributions and the ability to promote within the federation.

Rewards will be determined by a single formula based on the discussion metrics of connected Issues. A single post doesn't mean an automatic reward.

This token can't be bought, sold or exchanged for external money. It's an internal tool for interaction, not an investment asset.

The mechanism is planned. The formula and detailed rules aren't part of the current node setup offer.

Giving up paid external advertising doesn't remove infrastructure costs or participants' effort.

Let's start with your community

Let's launch your node

    Setup for the first communities

  • Next 5 nodes

What setup includes: we launch the node, give it a name and your community's look, set up the social algorithms together (for example, how stories are grouped into topics and what people see in the feed) and help you take the first steps.

All these settings are decided by the node itself. Only the architecture and the standards for connecting nodes remain shared across the federation.

Hosting, AI usage and further costs are paid separately by the community.

Let's get acquainted

Tell me about your community

Where are you, and what would you like to organise or improve together?

I'm Zeya, the author of DOGEstonia. I'll help you work out where to start launching a node.
